These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of pickerbird.com (the “Site”), operated by Yongzhi Ong (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using the Site or joining our waitlist, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

About the Site

Pickerbird is a product still in development. This Site is a pre-launch landing page. Its only interactive feature is an email waitlist through which you can register interest in the product and receive updates you opt in to. The Site does not sell any product or service, does not offer user accounts, and does not process payments.

The waitlist

Joining the waitlist registers your interest and, with your consent, subscribes you to updates. It does not create any contract, guarantee, or entitlement. In particular:

  • We do not guarantee that Pickerbird will launch, or launch on any particular timeline, in any particular region, or with any particular features.
  • We do not guarantee that you will receive access to Pickerbird at any stage of its release, or that any place on the waitlist secures such access.
  • Any dates, features, or plans mentioned on the Site are indicative and may change or be cancelled at any time.

You may leave the waitlist at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email we send you. Your data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • submit false, misleading, or someone else’s information, or sign up on behalf of another person without their consent;
  • attempt to disrupt, overload, probe, or gain unauthorised access to the Site or its systems;
  • use automated means (bots, scripts) to submit the form or scrape the Site;
  • use the Site for any unlawful purpose.

We may refuse, remove, or block sign-ups that appear to breach these Terms.

Intellectual property

The Site and its content — including the Pickerbird name, logo, text, graphics, and design — are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or reuse them without our permission, except as allowed by law.

Disclaimers

The Site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability. Pickerbird is a work in progress; information on the Site may be incomplete, provisional, or subject to change.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Site or the waitlist. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

The Site may link to third-party websites or services (for example, our email provider’s pages). We are not responsible for their content or practices; their terms and privacy policies apply to them.

Privacy

Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what data we collect and how we handle it.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as our product or the law changes. The “last updated” date above reflects the latest version. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and any disputes will be subject to the courts of that jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
